In 1914, the foundation of what is today Kronos was laid when 19-year-old Uno Wikar bought a small blacksmith shop in Kronoby, Ostrobothnia. Today, the company has grown into a leading player in the industry, with a focus on developing forest loaders, forest trailers, chain mulchers and harrows.
